English term or phrase: cortical spokes
From the description of a specific form of cataracts. The context (what little there is) is as follows:
"The prismatic effect of the hand held aspheric lens allows for easier treatment around cataracts (cortical spokes), and hemorrhage and vitreous debris."

This is the definition of cortical spokes: Cortical spokes are a type of cataract that isn’t uniformly opaque, but forms radial spoke-like or starlike patterns.

I haven't been able to find the German (or Latin) technical term for this - but I might be looking in all the wrong places. Any ideas?
TIA.

Rindenstar, lat. cataracta corticalis
Explanation:

Thank you very much - this was indeed a case of Betriebsblindheit - I got so hung up on the spokes that I didn't see the forest for the trees, or, in this case, the Rinde. :-) Found a picture of cataracta corticalis which shows the spokes very clearly. The addition of "radial ausgebildet" won't even be necessary. Thanks again.
