English to German translations [PRO]
Medical - Medical (general)
English term or phrase: Fellow (II)
There is more context (sorry):
Attending physicians, fellows and surgical residents (for non-surgical patients) will act as consultants to the code team leader and assist with procedures as needed.
I would also need a translation for resident. I found "Assistenzarzt" but am not sure about it.
Thanks a lot.

Explanation:
"Anstaltsarzt" is the term for a "resident physician" according to my dictionary, which is Collins German-English, English-German Dictionary, Unabridged, Fourth Edition.

At university some of my friends were medical students and from them I learnt that a "resident" doctor is one in the first year after graduating from university. A "resident" is a junior doctor in a hospital, who lives in a flat, just off the ward, and can be got up in the middle of the night if necessary. A "resident" is also sometimes called a "houseman".
