-------------------------------------------------- Note added at 27 mins (2005-04-01 09:11:02 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Sp*a*nnung natürlich, sorry, wieder zu schnell getippt -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 52 mins (2005-04-01 09:35:39 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hier ist ein Link, der auf englisch erklär, was \"tension repair\" ist: www.herniasolutions.com/Consumer/herniarepair.html For a long time, tension repair was the only repair option available to people with hernias. In this procedure, the surgeon makes an incision in the abdomen over the hernia site, pushes any protruding tissue back into the correct position within the abdominal cavity, and then stitches it closed. Today, tension repairs are recommended only for children or for very small hernias. There are some major disadvantages to tension repair, including: Discomfort A 4-6 week recovery period A 10-15% chance that the hernia will recur Ein Bild ist auch dabei. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 54 mins (2005-04-01 09:37:28 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Hier iwrd \"tension repair\" als traditionelle Methode der chirurgischen Behandlung von Hernien bezeichnet: http://hernia.tripod.com/techcomp2.html Die Erklärung deckt sich mit meiner obenstehenden: Traditional (Tension Repair) hernia surgery involved cutting adjacent muscle, then pulling it together using sutures or wire. This creates extreme tension on the muscle as it must be moved out of its normal anatomic location to cover the hernia defect. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr 0 min (2005-04-01 09:43:32 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- http://www.praxisklinik-regensburg.de/leistenbruch.htm .....unter Spannung genähten konventionellen Bruchpfortenverschluss....
