This is my best guess. In standard German it would mean Ja war er. Yes he was. In some dialects (Bavarian for example) war is pronounced wor. Yes he was what? I don't know. Maybe yes he was there too.

neutral  Ulrike Lieder: I wonder if this might not be a bastardization of "jawohl" ? To an English-speaking ear (pardon the mixed metaphor), jawohl might sound s.th. like "ja worer".
