I've run a quick check with Copernic2000 and found falconer trees mentioned but once. Ideally you'd get the Latin name first and then search for the German name, if there is one (the tree being so rare as it is). I suggest you post your request to relevant newsgroups such as sci.plants. You might have more luck there.

I would translate this literally, since a physical tree is meant and it was used by the old sportsmen who raised falcons - Falken. Thus, Falknerbaum.
