Explanation: Pillbug or wood louse in latin Armadillium vulgare in german Assel
There's also a computergame that is called Pillbug Golf.

With more context it would be easier.
Explanation: Just a long shot: In "A Bug's life" by Disney there are two pillbug acrobats. In the German version they are called "Pillenkäfer". As "Pillenkäferakrobat" doesn't sound too good, I turned it around.
I can't imagine real life pillbugs being acrobats.:) Eva
