Nothing wrong with the similar answers above. I just wanted to propose the more colloquial "Käpt'n" instead of "Herr Kapitän". All the movies and indeed real life use "Käpt'n", especially during an emergency situation like a torpedo approaching.

"Herr Kapitän" is a more formal way to address the captain, e.g. during dinner on a cruise.
