***Line imaging*** devices were already successfully used to image road and rail vehicles. One of their most obvious advantages in this case is the generation of a single continuous image along the movement direction.

disagree  David Moore: I've seen a number of posts and they all refer to "imaging" passing vehicles, and NOT the stretch of line, so I think this is a bit off track (groan, groan...)
