Der Text stammt aus den Ansprüchen eines Patents zu einer "method for rapidly increasing the photosensitivity of an optical fiber", die folgende Schritte umfaßt: "a) providing an optical fiber comprising a glassy material and a thermally-stable coating, the thermally-stable coating having a thermally-stable exposure band, wherein the desired time/temperature exposure parameters fall within the time/temperature thermal stability exposure band for the coating" - es sind all die Termini mit "exposure", bei denen ich nicht weiß, wie ich sie übersetzen soll. Mein Versuch lautet: a) eine Lichtleitfaser wird bereitgestellt, die ein glasartiges Material und eine wärmebeständige Beschichtung umfaßt, wobei die wärmebeständige Beschichtung ein wärmebeständiges Expositionsband besitzt und die gewünschten Zeit-/Temperatur-expositionsparameter in das Zeit-/Temperaturexpositionsband der thermischen Stabilität fallen (???)

"exposure" = "Belichtung" dürfte bei dem gegebenen Kontext wohl als gesichert (und einzig richtige Übersetzung!) gelten.

Nicht ganz so sicher bin ich mir, ob ich mit dem "Spielraum" die richtige Übersetzung für "band" getroffen habe. Referenz 1 definiert auf deutsch, was ein B.-spielraum ist; Referenz 2 hat auf der dritten Seite ("Problems with long exposure") eine Definition des englischen Begriffs, die äquivalent zu sein scheint.

Achtung: Auf Deutsch gibt es auch "B.-toleranz", das scheint aber etwas anderes zu sein. Nochmals genauer recherchieren!
