English term or phrase: radiation
physical term: what's the exact term for the force that makes gases rise? is it "Fliehkraft", or isther another, more specialised term?

Wärmestrahlung, Sonneneinstrahlung or buoyancy depending on context
Explanation:
I am guessing that you mean heat radiation (that makes gases rise because of increased temperature): That\'s Wärmestrahlung

Or solar radiation=Sonneneinstrahlung

Or are you looking for the term Auftrieb (buoyancy)?

Strahlung

Explanation:
Hitzestrahlung, Wärmeeabgabe

Fliehkraft is the centrifugal mechanical force, it doesn't make gasses rise, but would eventually cause to escape sideways
