English to German translations [Non-PRO]
Slang / slang
English term or phrase: pimpin
Australien Slan?
Miggi
German translation:absahnen
Explanation:
it's most likely to be the word "pimping" with the "g" dropped, to sound more slang...in any case, pimping is basically used as a term for living off the income from a prostitute (the pimp does that), but nowadays we know more many other forms of pimping and I would translate it as "Absahnen" in German, certainly similar meaning. It's done by those in the second row, who don't want to stick their own neck out or get their own hands dirty, yet "cream off" the money...
