English to German translations [PRO]
Social Sciences - Social Science, Sociology, Ethics, etc. / philanthropy
English term or phrase: philanthropic items
This offer is not valid for the purchase of gift cards, [....] or *philanthropic items,* cannot be applied to previously purchased merchandise, etc.

What would be the best way to translate this? Original translator simply said "Spenden," which isn't precise enough in my opinion.

Thanks, Johanna and all contributors. This is probably a good solution, but in the end I used AndersonT's answer: "fuer wohltätige Zwecke bestimmte Artikel".
This was translated into six languages, and the other translators essentially used wording to this effect.
