Ich kann mit Teil 3) der folgenden Textstelle nichts anfangen, da ich nicht weiß, was "Timmy Fetherstonhaugh" mit "Peter Lemeberg" (Transkriptionsfehler möglich) bzw. selbiger mit F1 zu tun hat.

4) Paul Sheppard takes a turn still in first, Timmy Fetherstonhaugh boat, and just as it was looking good that is going to affect the handling and the air dynamics.

So würde ich das verstehen, d.h. er hat seine Sportkunst von Lemeberg gelernt.
Wenn Lemeberg selbst das "prodigy" wäre, dann im Sinne von Wunderknabe/Jungstar/Senkrechstarter - ABER dann müsste es "the excellent prodigy Peter Lemeberg" heissen.

Vielleicht gibt's ein besseres Wort für "Ziehkind" hier: "sportlicher Sprössling" oder "Absolvent"?
