English term or phrase: looping apparatus
Der Begriff kommt in der Beschreibung einer Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von miteinander verbundenen Würsten vor. Der zugehörige Satz: The length between the twisted positions is liable to vary, so that this apparatus is not suitable to connection to a looping apparatus which is operated in synchronism with a fixed-amount stuffing machine

Explanation:
I'd suggest something like Aufrollapparat (or maybe Wurstaufrollgerät or s.th. similar). The English phraseology is a bit suspect anyway, it looks like a translation (from German?) to me.

Varying combinations of search criteria such as Wurstfüllgerät, Aufrollgerät, Schleife, Schlinge, Rolle, etc., didn’t yield anything definitive.
