Sirene (,Klein/st/lautpsrecher) Explanation: This has nothing to do with a Klopfer which as far as I know is the more or less big, heavy (usually metal) thing you see installed on old entrance doors for the purpose of knocking at the door which, of course, was replaced by the door bell. The best translation I can come up with is "Sirene" as the main purpose of these speaker-like devices in your context (there are sounders for radar detection, microwaves, as well, etc. etc.) is to emit one or a few tones with very high loudness. Tongeber/Klangkörper Explanation: Da es sich hier wohl um Minilautsprecher in verschiedenen Geräten handelt, scheint dies ein Element des Lautsprechers zu sein. Hierfür kann es aber noch eine genauere Bezeichnung geben. sound=Ton, Klang CPD |
