English term or phrase: tie-wrap
Hallo,
Danke

Kabelbinder
Explanation:
"tie-wraps" are the little nylon strips used to bind cable together.

Here are some sites about the subject:

http://www.softcinch.com/PolyWraps.html

http://www.milestek.com/autotiewrap.htm

http://www.milestek.com/cabletiewraps.htm

I believe the right German term is "Kabelbinder" as shown at this site:

http://www.hilpress.de/hilhp06u.htm

The English version of the site refers to "cable ties"

This German site does not translate the term:

http://ftp.uni-erlangen.de/cgi-bin/view/pub/other/ct/adresse...

http://www.item-international.com/start2/installationselemen...

"cable tray wiring" is the cable actually in the cable tray as contrasted to any other wiring/cable being discussed
