Übersetzung laut Vittorio Anastasio "Wörterbuch der Informatic/Dictionary of Informatics", VDI-Verlag.

Im Ernst findet sich in Richtung Deutsch-Englisch "Port, Parallelschnittstelle und Anschluß", in der umgekehrten Richtung gibt es für Schnittstelle nur "interface", für Port nur "port" und für Anschluß "connection" und "junction".

Fazit: "Schnittstelle" ist weniger gut geeignet, die speziellen Eigenheiten zu beschreiben, als "Port".
