Wireless Communication ist sicherlich ein Fachbegriff, drahtlose Kommunikation oder nicht leitungsgebundene Kommunikation sind zwei weitere Möglichkeiten. WC ist eher marketingoritentiert, drahtlose und nicht leitungsgebunden (erst recht) spricht eher den Techniker an.

agree  Bubble: allerdings sind "wireless phones" im fachhandel als "schnurlose telephone" erhältlich, so daß ich SCHNURLOS statt drahtlos bevorzugen würde

  -> Hier kommt's auf das Substantiv an: "schnurlose Kommunikation" habe ich in (fast) 38 Jahren meines Lebens noch nie gehört, genauso wie "drahtloses Telefon". Aber umgekehrt ist das schon gebräuchlich.

Explanation:
Möglich wäre auch noch "drahtlos" oder Mobilfunk", wobei ich beide nicht so toll finde, denn es fliegen (hoffentlich) keine Funken, und dass wir keine Drähte mit uns rumschleppen, ist ja wohl seit dem ersten Mobiltelefon klar.

neutral  Klaus Herrmann: Hätten wir mehr Kontext, könnten wir darüber streiten, ob das Fachausdrücke sind. Wenn ich z. B. an den Funkverkehr zwischen Flugzeug und Tower denke, würde ich da nicht unbedingt an wireless communication denken.
