Für diejenigen, die sich vorstellen können, dass ich ISO als Abkürzung für Isolation verwendet habe :-)

ISO ist eine Abkürzung für International Standard Organisation. Diese Organisation befasst sich vor allen Dingen mit Normen, aber eben auch mit Schutzklassen für Motoren. Klasse F ist eine ISO-Schutzklasse und betrifft die Isolierung von Motoren. Es wird vielfach als ISO-Klasse F, aber auch als ISO F oder nur als Klasse F angegeben.

agree  TService (X): Dürfte in jedem Fall passen. Aber auf das "ISO" würde ich als Abkürzung verzichten, da man's zu leicht mit ISO (Normen) verwechseln kann; und nicht sicher ist, dass diese HIER gemeint sind. ("ISO" taucht ja auch nicht im Original auf.)

neutral  TService (X): Möglich, dass es das ist. Aber eher unwahrscheinlich, da - wenn es um eine Norm ginge - diese mit Sicherheit auch im Original erwähnt würde. ISO ist ISO - aber Isolierung ist Isolierung.

  -> Klasse F ist eine Schutzklasse für Motoren und zwar eine ISO Klasse. Im Original wird Class F erwähnt. Dass dies eine Norm ist, darüber mus man sich eigentlich nicht streiten.
