elbow switching bedeutet meiner Meinung nach, dass man zwischen 2 Positionen hin- und herschalten kann. Ich glaube nicht, dass im obigen Fall es irgendwas mit der Form zu tun hat.

oh doch, der Ellbogenschalter wird mit dem Ellbogen betätigt, das hat nichts mit Schaltkreisen zu tun.

Anscheinend wird der Elbow-switch wegen guter Ueberspannungsfestigkeit verwendet, hab aber noch keine genauen Abbildungen gefunden darueber...vielleicht hilft es dir trotzdem
