Aus dem Kontext tendiere ich eher zu Ausgabe, aber dann verstehe ich o.g. Satz nicht. In solchen Fällen wie z. B. Übertemperatur sollte es doch eher um Deaktivierung gehen, oder?

agree  Klaus Herrmann: Ausgang, denke ich auch. Stell dir denn Ausgang nicht zum (direkten) Abschalten, sondern als Alarmausgang zum Melden der Überhitzung vor, dann passt's.
