English term or phrase: test stimulus
The ... is a single printed circuit assembly capable generating the test stimulus and measuring resistance, voltage and capacitance while comparing these measured values to programmable limits.

The only term I can come up with is "Prüfimpuls". Is this accurate?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Prüfimpuls
Explanation:
Sounds completely correct, even from the context. Stimulus usually is translated as Reiz, but in this technical context, Impuls makes sense.

Prüfreiz, Testreiz

Explanation:
Surprise: Per Fachwörterbuch Elektrotechnik / Elektronik (Peter-Klaus Budig, Hüthig Verlag) it is indeed a Reiz.

You might want to double-check this on the web and see how many hits you get.
