Explanation:
A union joint is a Schraubverbindung and thus a union bolt is a Verbindungsschraube(/bolzen). An Anschlußbolzen seems to me a translation for a connecting bolt rather than a union bolt.

Explanation:
May I humbly suggest that you switch your terms and use Verbindungsbolzen for union bolt and Anschlußschraube for connection screw. Here's why: a union is often a connection between two more or less equal parts, the equivalent of which is a Verbindung in German. A better fit, but you may disagree.
