English term or phrase: "Tough Sheathed" Rubber Cables
1) This is found in a brochure about cables without further context. An online cable-lexicon gives "Mantel" for sheath but what could "Tough Sheathed" r. c. be? Maybe "Stark ummantelt"?

Additionally there are following terms, which I don't find any reference for:

2) Cable connectors (are these Kabelanschlüsse or rather Anschlusskabel?)

3) Cable Marking ??

4) stabilisers. Could this really be easy and just be "Stabilisatoren"?

5) In conjunction with environmental commitment and ISO Standards: Is EMAS rather
a) Engineering Materials Advisory Service or
b) European ECO Management and Audit Scheme?
I tend think it is solution b), but I'm not sure.

Any help on these term is really greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

German translation:Konstanthalter...
Explanation:
I agree with Kim on the first of your questions...

as for cable connectors: normally those are Kabelstecker or Kabelanschlüsse

as for stabilisers: I'd go for Konstanthalter
see at: http://www.schuntermann.de/spakomag.htm

(but maybe you got a different context!!)

as for cable marking: is normally translated as Kabelsignier-maschine (or whatever) and is used for printing any company's logo on a cable under high temperature without destroying the cable...

see: http://www.medek.at/

as for your last question concerning EMAS

(depends upon the context but as you are also referring to ISO standards both options might fit...)
