Zweikampf? Viel Spass! :o) |

... de grollenden Zweikampf ... Explanation: "grudge" here is a sqhort form of "grudge match", but the sentence is not directly translatable. I like you version very much, especially since it defuses a little what is in the English version. It also reads better than lmy suggestion, which is just a variation. grudge, v., grudged, grudging v.ty. 1. to envy the possession or good fortunes of (another). 2. To give or allow unwillingly or resentfully. 3. To be envious or discontented. 4. Reluctance, unwillingness A grudge match is also sometimes used synonymously with "hat match", a match between teams that hat one another. HTH Webster's Comprehensive Dictionary |

nochmal Zweikampf Explanation: Sorry, I don't follow Cricket and don't know what happened on that Tuesday. grudge is neither Zweikampf nor Kampf, but Groll, Neid, Missgunst or even Hass. I would call it Feindseligkeit, althought not in any of my dictionaries. I would like to withdraw my first answer, I wasn't with it. Sorry! ;o( |

Erbitterte Auseinandersetzung verfolgen Explanation: You have to turn around the terms to form an acceptable sentence in German. In would say, "Nach Verfolgung der erbitterten Auseinandersetzung zwischen Indien und Pakistan..., but Verfolgung following Auseinandersetzung does not sound good. Therefore, use the verb. |

nach Ansehen des hasserfüllten Spýeles zwischen Indien und Pakistan Explanation: You watch a match = Du schaust Dir ein Match an..., grudge = hasserfüllt. |
