Flächenverstrebungen Explanation: Ute, could it be *plane* bracing? I could not find anything under plan bracing, but lots of info on plane bracing! http://www.trussnet.com/Articles/Article-ErectionAndBracing-... The key to adequate bracing is a network of 2x4 lumber triangles within each of the three planes of a truss design. These bracing triangles provide the structural rigidity to the truss.system just as the truss design itself uses triangles to support its loads. Diaphragms, as in sheathing material, may serve as a substitute for a network of 2x4 lumber triangles for a given plane. I would translate this as *Flächenverstrebungen*, as in: Was jetzt noch fehlt, sind die Flächenverstrebungen und die Querruderanlenkungen. Fertig ! Jetzt noch die Ruderausschläge einstellen. ... www.mfc-ostrachtal.de/buecker/buecker11.htm given |
