see below Explanation: Tracking and tracing are sometimes used as synonyms, but there could also be the following fine difference: tracking = (Sendung) Verfolgung = (Sendung) im Augebehalten = you know where the shipment is at any given time. - tracing = (Sendung) Nachforschung = (Sendung) Ausfindigmachen = you do not know where the shipment is and are trying to find it. I have read "carrier freight" in the LogiGo site text and it seems strange to me too. It might be Dutlish or maybe they want to say: carrier freight = (Fracht) Sendungen die von Transportunternehmen befördert werden - This could be in contrast to freight shipments transported by the person/company who owns it. I am not 100% sure of any of the above, perhaps if you wait a little you will get an answer from someone who knows for sure. - HTH - Dan |
