Όξινο διάλυμα ή διάλυμα με όξινες ιδιότητες

Παίρνουμε ένα φύλλο από κόκκινο λάχανο, το κόβουμε σε μικρά κομματάκια και το βράζουμε σε λίγο νερό. Μόλις κρυώσει, μοιράζουμε το χρωματιστό ζουμί σε τρία ποτηράκια. Στο πρώτο προσθέτουμε λίγες σταγόνες λεμονιού ή ξίδι (όξινο διάλυμα), στο δεύτερο λίγη σόδα φαγητού ή αμμωνία από αυτή που έχουμε για τα τσιμπήματα των εντόμων (βασικό διάλυμα) και το τρίτο το αφήνουμε όπως είναι. Παρατηρούμε το χρώμα να αλλάζει, στα δύο πρώτα ποτήρια. Δοκιμάστε και άλλους φυσικούς δείκτες, όπως το κόκκινο ζουμί από τα παντζάρια, το τσάι κλπ.
