Yasu / Hello. Here's another sentence refering to Cappadocia. How ould this translate into Greek? Cappadocia had Greek inhabitants from early times (about 750 B.C.). The Greek of Cappadocia was little different from that of Athens until the arrival of the Turks. Then they were separated and developed their own divegent dialect of Greek. I read that it has been extinct, however, since the 1960's (unfortunately).
Any help with a translation is appreciated!

In Greek we would talk about the splendid scenery of a place.

If, however, you must stick to the noun (\"splendour\"), you can say:

H megaloprepeia/H aiglh/To megaleio/H lamprothta tou topiou ths Kappadokias (sthn Kappadokia) apoteloun polo elxhs gia pollous touristes (proselkyoun pollous touristes).

Instead of \"touristes\", I prefer that you use the word \"perihghtes\", which is a fine Greek word meaning exactly the same with the word \"tourists\".
