English term or phrase: sentence
The English sentence reads:

There is the same amount of milk in the woman's glass as in the girl's glass.

I need a rendition that is both loyal to the original and natural in Greek.

A couple of options:

H posotita tou galaktos sto potiri tis gynaikas kai sto potiri tou koritsiou einai i idia.

To potiri tis gynaikas kai to potiri tou koritsiou exoun tin idia posotita galaktos.

Are you comfortable with the genitive case after "posotita" (i.e. "galaktos")?

Comments, ideas and your feedback are deeply appreciated. :)

Explanation:
Hi, Fiona.

I suppose the sentence also needs to teach students the meaning fo the word "amount", so your suggestions are both correct.

The genitive "γάλακτος" is absolutely correct and you have to use it.
