English to Hebrew translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase: jonathan
Would you show me how to write jonathan or yehonatan in Hebrew?
Thanks
farrah
Hebrew translation:יהונתן/יונתן
Explanation:
Hi Farra,
The Hebrew version of Jonathan is Yonatan: yod vav nun tav nun sofit
(יונתן). However if you prefer the biblical/ancient Hebrew version, it is Yehonatan (as in the David and Jonathan story in the Bible): yod heh vav nun tav nun sofit יהונתן

Good luck!
