English to Hindi translations [Non-PRO]
English term or phrase:English
how are you?
received your letter Dt.10/102001. i was very happy to read it.
Aap kaise hain? Aapka 10-10-2001 ka patra mila. Use padhkar mujhe bahut khushi hui.
Explanation: I have made some corrections on the previous answer.
1) Added the date of the letter at the appopriate place.
2) "...read it.". For 'it' the correct word is 'use' not 'usse'.
3) The translation is meant for someone who commands respect or is elder. For friends that would change to, "Tum kaise ho? Tumhara 10-10-2001 ka patra mila. Use padhkar mujhe bahut khushi hui.". Further if it is intended to a female friend, it would be, "Tum kaisi ho? Tumhara 10-10-2001 ka patra mila. Use padhkar mujhe bahut khushi hui."
Hope this helps :)
