जिस वाक्य के सन्दर्भ में यह प्रश्न पूछा गया है वहां अंग्रेजी के शब्द “Edition” के लिए उसके हिंदी अर्थ “संस्करण” का ही प्रयोग होगा|यह शब्द केवल पत्र-पत्रिकाओं या पुस्तकों के लिए ही नहीं अपितु किसी भी वस्तु अथवा भाव में आये कुछ बदलावों के साथ जब उसे प्रस्तुत किया जाता है तो उसकी उस अवस्था के अर्थ में “संस्करण” का ही प्रयोग किया जाता है|जहाँ तक प्रश्न “अंक” के प्रयोग का है तो आधुनिक हिंदी व्याकरण में पुस्तकों और पत्र-पत्रिकाओं के लिए आ रहे “Edition” शब्द के अर्थ में इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है|
