English term or phrase:heritage percent
I'm translating a text describing a house, and it begins like this:
This small house consisted of an intervention within a heritage percent. The brief required a home with varying and multiple spaces within a limited allowable building area.
Does anybody know if 'percent' or 'heritage percent' have some specific meaning in the architecture field? Couldn't find anything in the dictionaries, and on the Internet I couldn't find any suitable context.
At the end I translated for "porzione del patrimonio", but I'm not happy with the translation. I think there's a mistake in the original text. Thanks to everybody. 1 KudoZ points were awarded for this answer
I thought the intervention had something to do with patrimonio, 'heritage', even if I still don't understand what 'percent' has to do with it. Maybe there's a mistake in the text. Anyway, I found some photo of the house on the architects' web page (it's the stkilda house, in Melbourne, Australia):
