Gertrude, madre di Amleto, lo accusa di avere molto offeso il padre, e Amleto ritorce l'accusa su di lei, che l'avrebbe offeso molto risposandosi. Nel racconto di Margaret Atwood, Gertrude, il personaggio shakespeariano, talks back, cioe' replica, risponde alle accuse. Questo glossario shakesperiano http://www.shopthenet.net/publiclibrary/Shakespeare/glossary... dice che "enseamed" vuol dire "fat, rank" (puzzolente), ma vedilo nel contesto dei verbi.
