nei compressori d'aria per evitare che l'olio inquini l'aria compressa e si perda (rischio di mancanza di lubrificazione) si prende parte dell'aria prodotta dal compressore e la si manda lle tenute; essa è definita "seal air ". In questo caso la pressione dell'aria (>7 bar) è superiore a quella di lubrificazione (~ 2 bar)
