English term or phrase: fork blade
In manuale su carrello elevatore trovo: Check a set of forks to see if there is any difference in height once they are installed in the fork holder.
If the difference in tip height exceeds 3 % of the blade length or the limit value recommended by the truck manufacturer, the set of forks in question must be taken out of service.
Nella memoria di traduzione per fork blade trovo lama della forca ma non sono convinta, non trovo granché su internet. Nella pagina wikipedia si parla di bracci (http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carrello_elevatore)...
(ps. Io avevo fatto in passato domanda relativa a fork shoe http://www.proz.com/kudoz/english_to_italian/transport_trans... e se in tale caso si trattava di braccio sfilabile).
Avrei quindi pensato di usare braccio della forca ma mi piacerebbe avere delle conferme (o smentite) e o suggerimenti per altre soluzioni. Grazie in anticipo!

Ciao,
allora secondo me si chiamano forche e basta. Le forche sono proprio le due parti sporgenti che infili sotto il pallet, per intenderci.
Il carrello si chiama "carrello elevatore a forche" quindi io tradurrei "... eccede il 3% della lunghezza delle forche / della forca..."

Secondo me si tratta delle due lame che permettono di sollevare i pallet. Ne ho sempre sentito parlare come forche
