Sto traducendo un testo sui vari tipi di kit esistenti per l'analisi del DNA a scopo forense. Ricorre spesso il termine "Casework sample", ad esempio nella frase "Increase first-pass success rate for difficult casework samples due to increased cycle number" o "More successful analysis of degraded and inhibited casework samples". Mi sapreste dare una mano? Grazie!

Visto che si parla di indagini di ambito forense non potrebbe riferirsi semplicemente al campione/i prelevato nell'ambito di uno specifico caso o indagine in atto?
