fp - floating particles particelle in sospensione Explanation: Ciao Gaetano, per floating particles io utilizzerei "particelle in sospensione". Per quanto riguarda la sigla in italiano, non credo che ne esista una specifica, ma, per quel po' di ricerca che ho fatto, mi pare che nemmeno "fp" sia estremamente diffuso per "floating particles" (anzi, immagino che senza chiedere al cliente sarebbe stato impossibile dedurne il significato). Quindi potresti semplicemente utilizzare le iniziali in italiano, ma, a meno che non esista un glossario o un modo di spiegare la sigla, immagino che PS o PIS non aiuterebbero molto chi utilizza il software. Secondo me la soluzione migliore rimane la traduzione estesa in italiano.
