infatti, dice che chi rappresenta l'acquirente preparerà un documento riguardante la qualità del prodotto. Questo documento sarà messo a disposizione del rappresentante di chi vende, che nè dovrà firmare il documento per certificare per conformità, cioè per dire che entrambi concordano sulle charatteristiche del prodotto.

Comunque è un testo molto ingarbugliato e non ti envidio!!

Credo che il documento contenga parecchi refusi. Forse è un fax? Comunque anche se non sta a me giudicare un testo che non è scritto nella mia lingua madre, credo di poter affermare con una certa tranquillità che il testo è stato copiato male o stampato male. "Should the letter confirm"? Forse volevano scrivere "Should the latter confirm"...

Per quanto riguarda "sign the resort in conformity", credo proprio che dopo "conformity" manchino parecchie parole.

Secondo me dunque dopo conformity deve esserci dell\'altro testo. Inoltre, prima di \"this report, prepared by the representative of the purchaser\" dovrebbe esserci un punto e virgola almeno...

Non lo so, posso sbagliarmi ma a fiuto mi sembbra che manchi del testo...

Gli errori sono parecchi a cominciare da resort che dovrebbe essere report.
E tutta la traduzione sembra un inglese maccheronico tradotto parola per parola (possibilmente a macchina con leggera e carente revisione umana) dall'italiano

esempio:
"at the disposition of" e' una traduzione letterale di "mettere a disposizione di" che in inglese si dice "will make available"

"function as a certificate"
in inglese legalese si direbbe "in lieu of a certificate" o anche qualcosa di meglio.

In effetti da l'idea di essere stato tradotto in inglese da altra lingua in maniera un pò bislacca...però il senso di tutta la frase che hai riportato mi sembra che indichi questo: poichè la merce deve essere consegnata con qualità certificata (mi vengono in mente le norme: 89/392/EEC, per esempio, per la costruzione dei macchinari o la normativa EN 12021, sempre per esempio, per l'aria respirabile), per la stessa farà fede il certificato di conformità (che, probabilmente, citerà norme e regolamenti nazionali o internazionali a cui si è attenuto durante la lavorazione ed i vari collaudi e che -firmato anche dal venditore- assume carattere ufficiale di attestazione di qualità - per esempio TUEV ecc..)
