L'eurodizionario lo traduce con laureato, cmq si potrebbe tradurre anche con "baccelliere", che nelle università medioevali era lo studente che aveva conseguito il ptimo grado accademico, inferiore alla laurea. Il dizionario Devoto-Oli spiega anche che il "bachelor" è un titolo inferiore al "master" ed al "doctor"
