English to Italian translations [PRO] Cinema, Film, TV, Drama
English term or phrase:Lock, SHOCK & Barrel
I'm writing an essay on AV translation. I choose to analyze "The nightmare before Christmas".
Can anyone suggest a better translation INTO ITALIAN for the three little monsters called Lock, Shock and Barrel?
In the italian version they are called Vado, Vedo e Prendo, probably referring to Ceasar's Veni Vedi Vici statement. Personally, I don't like this choice, but I can't even think of other ways of translating the names and mantain the idiomatic idea behind them (the english "lock, stock and barrel").
