Comunque gli acroprops sono quei tubi anche usati nei cantieri per sostenere le impalcature o livellare piani provvisori. Sono telescopici e regolabili per mezzo di una filettatura o scorrevoli e dotati di un sistema di blocco (può essere una vite, un perno...). Nel tuo caso specifico (cosa piuttosto curiosa) uno dei due tubi (non credo entrambi) è a collo d'oca, cioè curvato. Manual deployment credo proprio significhi "ad allungamento manuale".
