In un testo relativo a Aspirated Hazardous Gas Protection System (IR) trovo enclosure.
Il mio dubbio è se si tratti di involucri/custodie o piuttosto di aree chiuse.

Ciao Alessandra. Credo sia il termine qui più appropriato, ed anche molto neutro, quindi adattabile ad ogni dimensione. Del resto è molto attestato il termine "contenitori combinati" anche riguardo al trattamento dei gas:

Dal contesto mi sembra che vada bene questo termine e che si tratti di normali contenitori, piccoli o grandi. A meno che, naturalmente, non venga specificato meglio nel resto del documento.
