Il mio consiglio sarebbe quello di lasciare l'espressione in inglese (di modo che gli esperti del ramo capiscano immediatamente di che cosa si sta parlando) e di farla seguire da una spiegazione in italiano, possibilmente tra parentesi (in modo che possa capire anche chi esperto della materia non è). Ho visto che questo sistema è anche definito dei "tradable certificates", quindi potresti magari dire: ...il sistema "book and claim" (o dei cosiddetti "certificati negoziabili")... ...il sistema "book and claim" (che prevede la compravendita di "certificati negoziabili" di sostenibilità)... Oppure potresti spiegare più estesamente il concetto e dire qualcosa sulla falsariga di: ...il sistema "book and claim" (che prevede l'emissione di certificati o crediti a favore dei produttori che implementano criteri di sostenibilità e la successiva vendita a chi desideri certificare i propri prodotti come sostenibili)... Spiegazione un po' lunghetta ma, in fondo, è di questo che si tratta... Naturalmente, bisogna vedere se e come le mie proposte si adattano al tuo contesto.
