barrage? Explanation: Ipotizzando che si tratti di un typo per "barrage" - putiferio, fuoco di fila, bombardamento a tappeto, tempesta di fuoco / di pallottole o che dir si voglia - quel "what" potrebbe avere, a mio parere, un doppio senso a seconda del contesto: - what: uso slang e scorretto, ma ormai invalso anche in UK, al posto del relativo "that": "me ne vado in giro vedere /cercare un putiferio che si è scatenato / vedere dove si è scatenato un putiferio" ( e questo farebbe senso con la battuta sul caos che preoccupa la madre, se sono successive!) - a barrage potrebbe essere in posizione prolettica rispetto al what "what a barrage blew off" e significare: "me ne vado a vedere cosa un putiferio ha fatto saltare in aria", se è un razziatore. Notare il basso livello di confidenza, pls! |
