viticultore Explanation: se si tratta della didascalia di una foto con un uomo alle prese con la produzione di vino, credo che il termine più appropriato sia "viticultore", vale a dire chi si occupa non solo dei vigneti ma anche della vinificazione. Giovanni |

vitivinicoltore Explanation: Il New Oxford English dice che "vintner" è solo colui che vende il vino, mentre per il Webster's può essere sia chi commercia vino, sia chi produce vino della sua vigna, cioè il vignaiolo (o viticoltore). Per esperienza diretta ti dirò che nella Niagara Peninsula le aziende vinicole hanno quasi tutte la dicitura "Vintner" appesa fuori dai loro locali e praticamente tutte dispongono di vigneti propri (anche se alcune fanno anche altre etichette di vino con uve importate). Per quello che ho visto io, nel nord America per "vintner" s'intende il più delle volte chi ha vigne proprie, fa e commercia il proprio vino. Quindi si tratta di attività vitivinicola. Roberto |
