English term or phrase: 52W high
In the wake of the turbulence on the financial markets, the share prices of many blue chips from the commodity sector have now also come under pressure for the first time. Our list shows the companies of the Bloomberg World Mining Index, ranked by market capitalization in USD and the gap to their 52W high.
----------------------------------------
In our list as at the end of January, the large mining companies are already trading roughly 20-30% below their 52W highs! XXX Corp. of China and YYY Ltd. from India have even lost 49.8% and 38%, respectively. We interpret this as a warning sign that the decoupling theory could no longer be valid.

Explanation:
Ciao Giuli,
