Sono sostanzialmente in accordo con Sofia; volevo però dare un'alternativa, sottolineando il lato probabilmente ironico del giudizio su chi "has never stepped foot out of Africa" e si atteggia al più altezzoso, usando appunto il superlativo assoluto come viene indicato anche dal source con "the haughtiest"...

Explanation:
o anche "parla inglese con un'alterigia degna del più" - anche se questo altera (appena un poco) l'originale

proposte per una resa forse più fluida e colloquiale di quelle, comunque valide, proposte dai colleghi.

Naturalmente la scelta tra "spocchioso" e "altezzoso" dipende dal tono generale che vuoi dare al testo tradotto; non mi soddisfa pienamente "britannici" per Britons, perché si perdono un po' troppe connotazioni, IMHO.
