È tutta la mattina che questo Kudoz mi incuriosisce :-) Cosa c'è di male con un banale termometro? Guardando il catalogo della Tempil, che fa questi chalks, si vede che produce termometri (cioè indicatori/misuratori/rilevatori di temperatura). I suoi altri prodotti si chiamano thermometer. Questo ha un nome un po' diverso perché è tascabile.

Chalk=gessetto si trova solo su un sito tradotto. Chalk è un nome gli hanno dato per via della forma, non perché contenga gesso. Più spesso sono chiamati stick. Termometro a pennetta? Termometro tascabile? Ma alla fin fine il contesto di Sabina è piuttosto generico.

gessetto termico


Explanation:
Apparecchi di misura adatti devono permettere di rilevare temperature fino a 350°C con un elevato grado di precisione.

In alternativa è possibile eseguire il controllo della temperatura utilizzando il gessetto termico fusiotherm®. Il gessetto speciale cambia il colore a contatto con la superficie riscaldata e indica il risultato di misurazione con una tolleranza +/- 5 K.

Tempilstick termperature meters produce a marking that melts when it comes within 1% of its temperature to be measured. The colour changes from chalk into gloss.

There are more than 100 temperature meters, with a fixed pattern from 38 up to 1371 °C (100 up to 2500 °F). The majority of these are lead-, sulphur- and halogenfree. The Tempilstick is supplied in an adjustable holder with clip.
